RAJD 24-26.02 (wyjazd 23.02 wieczorem)
Welcome to long weekend cross country skiing trip to Jizera Mountains which is well known for majestical cross country skiing routes. We will be exploring both Polish and Czech Republic routes.
Accommodation for two nights is booked in a mountain shelter which is far away from civilization and network.
We are starting on Thursday 23rd night and we will be back by Sunday 26th midnight. So please take a leave on Friday in advance.

Conditions for participation

- Acceptance of the regulations of the Rajd
- Paying non-refundable advance 225 PLN (Accommodation and Transport) within 3 days of after receiving the confirmation email.
Bank account number will be sent to you in the confirmation email after registering for the rajd.
Plan:
Thursday 23rd February 2023
We will meet at 21:30 at Warszawa Centralna train station on the ground floor waiting hall near Rossmann. Our train is at 22:00.
Friday 24th February 2023
We will reach Jakuszyce around 09:45 and we will collect our rental equipment and pay for it.
Depending on Number of beginners, we will decide on having an instructor.
11:30 We will slowly start cross country skiing with our backpacks from Jakuszcze to our Mountain shelter.

Level: Easy
Before it gets dark, we will try to reach our Mountain shelter and have dinner there based on what you want to eat.
After dinner, you can either go with us for night skiing or stay at the schronisko and play board games or play some music.
For night skiers, we will start around 18:00 and we planned a nice 6 – 8 KM route for you.
Saturday 25th February 2023
07:00 -08:00 Breakfast time
08:30 we will start cross country skiing and explore Czech side routes
Total distance is around 21 km (yes, distance can be decreased based on the speed of the group)
Lunch break on the Czech Republic side.
By evening we will reach our shelter and have dinner and take rest.
Sunday 25th February 2023
06:30 – 07:30 Breakfast time
08:00 Pack everything and start cross country skiing.
Distance 11 Km from Mountain shelter to Jakuszycze train station with backpacks.
We will have lunch either in the restaurant in Jakuszycze or we will order some Pizza to train station based on how much time is left.
We will catch a train at 14:08 from Jakuszycze to Szklarska Poreba Gorna and from Szklarska Poreba Gorna at 15:11 we will take Train to Warsaw.
Train reaches Warszawa Gdanska at 23:00
NOTE: Organizers have the right to change the route due to circumstances and weather conditions.
What is included in the cost?
- Transport from Warsaw to Jakuszycze and return.
- Two nights’ accommodation in mountain shelter in a Dormitory.
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday

- Route maps both electronic, Printed and GPX
- Instructor for 1 hr in Jakuszycze
Additional Costs:
- Renting equipment for people who do not have their own cross country skies.
- Lunch, dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are not included in the cost.
